    The post Soviets take better care of their subways than they do anything esle. You could eat off the floor it is so clean. Hospitals and schools….not so much

      this is the old mindset of “put our money and energy into things that foreigners are more likely to see”, which is still very strongly present in that land.

      actually, those are not the best looking stations of Moscow metro.. although they are not worst ones.. i’s say average

      for a comparison you can google komsomolskaya metro station photos ^)
