AN-2B 6

A photo report of the AN-2 plane transporting from the Volga region to Voskresensk city. The operation went off with some hitches but the crew of experienced pilots and mechanical engineers did their best, and finally the plane was ferried well!

The day was wonderful.

Well that was a little confusing, Well a Garmin 696 map is the latest and greatest in portable GPS Navigation for General Aviation. those AN-2’s are an interesting airplane. There is a couple in Alaska on Restricted Certification. Little to much for private rec. Use. The last two photo’s what is that? Radio looks like a Russian version of a King KX 170 B. One of the most bullet proof radio’s going.

We can see floats on the picture. I’m looking for AN2 on floats.
Where is this place ? And do they fly AN2 on floats?
