Oh, These Wonderful School Days…

One day in secondary school №2 of Kargopol city.

It is the most usual form of the most usual Russian school but when you look at ordinary things closely, you can always see something specific. These cheerful children, these school desks, corridors, playgrounds – everything here reminds of serene school days, and by everybody these memories are different.

    I’ll bet these little folks learn just as much as most US kids do in their schools.

      Many, many kids here in the USA come out of school dumber than dirt. In first year of college they have to take classes to read!

      They are at a much higher standard than us. My professor is Russian she came to the US during her college freshmen year, she perfected her English while obtaining 3 bachelor degrees, all in 4 years.

    i bet they get better math than US public schools, seeing as newsweek ranks Slovakia above USA in education. However, these schools can be just as bad, if not worse, than US schools! Not to mention you math level in 8th grade is far behind that of any Igor.

    Its not usual form of the most usual Russian school. Its village usual school which 10X different than a simple city school.
