Great “retro” illustrations. A talented artist. I really enjoyed these. I’m reminded of the American illustrator, Norman Rockwell, in a number of them. It’s a treat to see a Russian’s slant on similar themes. (I strongly state that I don’t consider them copies at all; just similar themes.)

He’s clearly inspired by Vargas and also the US illustrator Norman Rockwell.
Not to detract anything from Russia’s enormous contribution and sacrifice for overcome the Hitler Barbarossa- but Stalin was pathologically terrified of Hitler (hence constant NKVD investigations into every Hitler alive hoax.
Stalin was also shorter, a lesser man and never a twice decorated (extreme bravery) as a frontline soldier (a young pre-delusional Hitler of List Regiment Bavaria as a messenger was). Hitler was as rough as a Moscow hooligan- he would have kicked Stalin’s ass in a fight. Goering would have eaten him.

I am a Russian girl and can explain something about these pics. I cannot say that they are about “no respect to women”, not at all )) The pics are made just for fun. It is like old Soviet “classic” posters made in pin-up style. I have seen a lot of classic posters and can say that these are very funny)) It is unreal to imagine to have pics like these when Stalin or Brezhnev were the leaders of the USSR.
