      I get a strange feeling in my belly when looking at the ‘on the top of the bridge’-pictures. How do they just get to these crazy places? Great photos.

      so whos that girl that gets representet by the4 statue? Shield and sword? whats the symbolism behind that?

        That is Mother Motherland – the great monument to the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany. It is an analogue of a sort to Mother Motherland in Volgograd.

        The shield still depicts the seal of the USSR.

      It looks like that statue is made out of aluminum.Unlike Liberty that is green copper!

          This website is EnglishRussia.com. In English it is spelled Kiev, for like the last 200 years. Duh!

      Amazing photos – those guys have no fear of heights, whereas I feel like throwing up just looking at their incredible photos!

      I can understand that some people don’t suffer from vertigo, but they have no control over the wind. What happens if there’s a sudden strong gust? Splat! Please take care in future!
