    Burning Grass Demolished a Village

    19
Posted on September 10, 2010 by CJ

Linevo village in Volgograd Region of Russia has become a new victim of fire. About 80 houses were demolished. They spoke about various causes of the fire: strong wind, break of wire or short circuit, even an arson commited by Chechens… But nobody told about the real reason: the houses burnt because someone just set fire to dry grass on the outskirts as it usually happens everywhere…

With only 80 villagers, they would be the firefighters themselves. Grass fires can spread very quickly (several meters per second when dry and windy). They probably only had time to grab a few belongings.

I hope they have a place to stay for the winter.

Notice the fireplaces in the burned buildings, they’re a very efficient design.

This is so tragic, it has to be horrible to lose your home to a fire. What happened to all the people displaced because of this fire, where did they go to live? Do charity organizations exist that help these people rebuild?

The first 3 pictures are photoshopped people….. use ya eyes.

The burnt telegraph pole was faked in the first, the sign in the 2nd picture was added, the cows in the 3rd picture and the cow in the other picture near the end.

The clarion call of the person who doesn’t want to believe what they see, “it’s photoshopped.” It no longer denotes intelligence to use this term.

Its astounding to see fire sweep through an entire area yet it leaves some things completely unscathed from the fire. It is sad to see people loose homes and belongings, I feel for these people. Thanks for the pictures…

Those burnt cabbages look like something from a science-fiction or arachnophobia movie. These wildfires are shocking, hope no lives were lost.Best wishes to people of Linevo village.
