Amazing. Reminds me of the Red Army choir that performed with the Leningrad Cowboys some years back. VERY entertaining. You haven’t lived until you’ve seen this combination do ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd songs. LOL

In that case, I have lived! Leningrad Cowboys is my favourite band… well, back before they became heavy metal and all my favourites quit.

Agreed, that is some amazing music… and hilarious concert footage! My fave part was when the Army soloist starts to laugh onstage because the Cowboys are just so goofy and funny.

And this is the “Evil Empire” that drove the U.S. to spend (and continue spending) half it’s GDP on the military?

Awesome!!! Russian Army musicians are the best. I’ve loved them since they agreed to join the Leningrad Cowboys for an album and a tour!

As a child, one of my favourite tunes was by a Russian Army choir, I think it was called ‘Golden Hawks on Golden Wings’ in English. This was long before Leningrad Cowboys. Good to see army guys having fun!
