    We use laser beams to detonate mines. Also our feet sometimes.

    Belgian troops who are still cleaning up the mines Israel left a few years ago in Lebanon (thank you, Israel for your mines so that our soldiers can risk their lives in a job you should be doing yourself) even use trained rats to find explosives – and it works very good.

    i realize that war is dirty business, but land mines are very evil idea. lots of innocent people get killed or maimed. i have high respect for mine clearers. one false move and they are toast.
