In Zaoksky district not far from Tula it was hailing really really heavily! The hail’s size was rather impressive! We doubt you’d wish to be a witness of such hellish hail!

0st, any damage to the cars? :)

  2. Macsen says:

HA! Could have been here in Alberta, Canada! We get that stuff dropping from the sky at any time between spring and fall.

  3. Testicules says:

I blame Al Gore for that hail.

    • Ivana Benderova says:

Um… no. These are golf balls. Tennis balls are larger and green. I learned this via Google. And since Al Gore invented the internet, and Google is part of internet, I guess it really is Gore’s fault.

  4. what would happen if one of those hit you on the head?

    • sieberi says:

It can be fatal. There have been incidences here in Alberta where people have been killed by large hailstones. Best place to be during a hailstorm is under a highway overpass if you are lucky, or just being indoors.

  5. CONNIE says:

If they hit you in the head you would get a brain tumor, blame than on Al Gore also.

  6. OLUT says:

    Oh, hail!

Been a part of bigger hailstones… Everything plastic or glass out in the yard is completely demolished. People get injured, cars get destroyed, and hell even somebody had it go through their roof. Kansas is a very volatile place to live.

  9. Scarecrow says:

A thunderstorm just west of here is dropping hail twice that size right now. Large hail is very common on the Great Plains.
