OMG Russians are sooo poor they won only 3 Gold Medals at vancouver Olympics while Superior, slim, fit and athletic Americans won 9 Golds with a total world record of 37 Medals. I feel sorry for them then again Russia is broke they cant pay their athlete and they cant even afford ice and snow in poor russia any more

Maybe Russia is dissapointed with it’s medal showings, not finishing in the top 5. Canada got top gold count plus whipped the USA in hockey so I’m happy. I go through Vancouver every 2 years to go salmon fishing off Nootka Sound and the sea-to-sky highway is a tour I always take, up to Lilooet then down to Hope (where Rambo #1 was filmed) then back to the Island ferry. Maybe doing a parody of their athletes is a cultural fun thing in Russia?
Well, actually, Ukraine and Russia have waaaay muche more in common than France and Germany. Ukraine is raether a kind of Alsace, shared between Poland and Russia.

Russia has 142 million citizens, most of them below 50 [people die young here]. Holland has 16 million citizens, half of which are over 45 yrs old [people live very long there]
