Wooden Cops Sculptures: Real and Fairy

Such wooden sculptures of Russian traffic cops can be seen in a nice city Khabarovsk. Don’t you agree that it is an unusual idea to make such cute figures and, what is more, to mix the urban reality personages with fairy-tale ones in such a funny way?

Are the wooden cops less corruptible than the real ones?

Ivana, you’ll have to consult me in all things related to Musa. Musa appointed me as the Boss!

Back to being serious, they look great! Carpenter skills are always worth a mention or two!

Having spent the last 25 years as a police officer I’m curious why none of the Russian traffic police are armed. Are the other police units armed? Are they like the British Bobbies with only special units allowed weapons?
