When you have a dream you can try to get closer to it. If this dream is about some item you can buy you can start saving for it, try stealing it or… you can make it.

This is how this guy from outskirts of Karaganda , Kazakhstan has solved his urge for a Rolls Royce car – he made a replica from old Mercedes W123.

It always surprises me when people have the skills to make something like that, but they can’t save up and get a real one. Maybe there’s no market for vehicle body mods over there or something…

    • John says:

If he could some how cough up about $400,000. U.S. dollars he might just have enough to buy one, but he still needs to pay for the taxes, shipping & the car insurance and build a type of Fort Knox to store it in while he sleeps at night.
I figure he thought he would take the cheaper way out and just build a good likeness of one. Don’t you?

  2. johnny stranger says:

WHYYYYYY?????? I would rather have that merc (albeit with lower suspension and proper wheels) than a fake or even real rolls.

  3. witoldinho says:

    That’s W124 and not W123.

Nice kit car.Someday I want to find a Lamborghini Countach made from a Toyota MR2.What is nice about kit cars is not paying the high price for the car or the insurance.A MR2 will always be a MR2 besides what the car looks like!

  11. Musa says:

Come out from your dream.you should not able to handle even the new shoes.so first you should learn about the living in humans then think about the Lamborghini.

    • Musa says:

  18. Grey Goose says:

What’s the point of having a nice “fake” car, when you live in a dump?

    • Blue Agave says:

Oooops, I thought I had caught that before it had a chance to publish.

It’s Hawkeye, not Grey Goose but you already know that.

  19. ozoneocean says:

Great ingenuity! Sadly it was so horribly misplaced. That model of a Rolls Royce is the most revoltingly ugly design to have ever borne the Rolls Royce name.

  20. scot says:

It would look a lot better without the black grill and bonnet.

  22. Hrmm that is weird, my comment got eaten. Anywho I wanted to express it’s good to find out that somebody else also discussed this as I’d problems simply finding the same info elsewhere. This is the first place that helped me understand this. Thanks.
