    My Babushka used to make such treats. except she “killing two bird with same rock” and put anal suposotory medicine into pastry instead of candy. It did not tast very well :( but on sunny side you did not worry about hemmeroids!

    :-) you know that in Poland is one of national dishes caled: “Ruskie Pierogi” (Ruskie=Russians),… :-) And there is another one: “Barszcz Ukraiński” Ukrainian borsch :-) strange names for national Polish dishes :-). But influence of neighbours is always strong.
