Posted on April 22, 2009 by russia

    Russian chickenpox is green

It comes out that medical treatments differ from country to country. For example such disease as chickenpox is treated green in Russia. What do we mean under green? It’s literary green – people cover themselves from top to toe with a green substance. Some like to pose for camera in such condition and find it normal. Here is just a few of such.

When I had a chickenpox, I used the same disinfectant. Otherwise the body turns very itchy.

What’s really scary is that people in russia still get chicken pox. Why don’t they have access to the vaccine? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varicella_vaccine

It’s very rarely harmful to the young and the vaccine is not given in the UK amongst other countries.

Back in USSR, when felt pens first arrived, we used Zelyonka to fill up the green felt pens with it when the original stuff run out. It worked.

Survivors of Chikenpox should know that it could revisit you in your old age, as Psoriasis, a particularly nasty, painful, and long lasting nerve ending disease. In the West there is now an inoculation against that outcome (about 60-70% effective).
None of these childhood diseases is anything to make fun of, they can kill children, Mumps can cause male sterility, Measles (Rubella) can scar you for life, as can Chikenpox. Get your children inoculated, please. G]

Shingles is the long lasting nerve ending irritation associated with a dormant chicken pox infection (varicella zoster virus) , not psoriasis which is an autoimmune disorder.

Yes, it is green indeed. It is actually a standard alcohol-based substance for trating all kinds of wounds, it is called “zelionka”, i.e. “green stuff”. But what the hell is this, actually you have chickenpox as a child – I had it too, and looked also like a green leopard :)

eehmmm, friend, I think you meant Viruela (smallpox) varicela (chicken pox) is the non lethal, specially in childhood, in fact, grows up who gets varicella have more chance to die than the children; so, many parents in any neighborhood when they knows that another child in there have varicella, they send their kids to contract it, because it gets once in life and the oldest you are, the bigger the risk you have to stretch the leg (making reference to rigor mortis)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rigor_mortis (in case you don´t know what rigor mortis is)
