    Helicopter tows plane

Children often ask something like “Mommy, who would win – helicopter or plane?”. Those guys from Moscow could give the answer easily to such a question showing how powerful helicopters are – they easily can move whole planes from place to place.

      I take it that’s a Mil Mi-26, i.e. the world’s largest production helicopter? Pretty cool. :)

Why is that gypsey writing on the side of the helicopter? I thought that gypsey’s were not allowed to touch helicopters

Is this a Aeroflot Soviet Airlines plane?

There is no Russian flag on the tail!

I do not think all Russian planes have a flag on the tail.

This does look like a training exercise. It is good that Russia does this!

Yet again outstanding shots in englishrussia. Look how giant is that chopper, I guess a void plane without machinery is not so heavy as it could seem to be.

Miss India: attract your fingers sth else instead of a keyboard, please..

Now thats pretty crazy. There are people right underneath that plane as it is being carried away. What would happen in a cable were to snap.

Yep, this is a helicopter of EMERCOM (Emergency Control Ministry) of Russia. The plane is carried for training purposes. EMERCOM now has almost a full range of training objects from buildings to planes. As they claim, the only thing which is still needed is a subway train with a tunnel :D . That makes EMERCOM one of the most experienced and trained rescue organisation in the world, which helps in rescue operations around the globe with its technics and specialists.

Of course but he plane (TU-134) doesn’t have already the heavier parts: the two rear engines! And besides the middle part of the two wings are not present!
I did have flight on this airplane, the Tupolev 134, a NATO codename “Crusty”. An interesting sample of the military old Soviet planes which the beak is still in glass and the radar encasement bellow, remembering the bombers of old!
A couple of few years more and they will be history!

By the way the engines are placed in the back side of the plane! Without them and the fuel the structure are obviously light!
