    Russian abandoned 1

That’s the tallest abandoned Russian structure and those guys have paid a visit there one frozen winter morning. It’s a shorter than Empire State Building, but not too much.

Structure is useful for locating wandered livestock. I send wife up to look for lost goat. She only fall one times. Do not worry – she only fall from 20 metre, not apex. She only break arms and 1 leg. She back to work next day. I found lost goat as well.

Wow. That is an amazing climb. Look at his climbing gear!
You can see his shoes in one of the shots, it gives a good indication of the rest of his gear.

Anyway, like I said. that is amazing! Fantastic Pictures!

Does anyone remenber the one in Quebec that was hit by a plane? I think it had been the tallest radio tower in North America at least for a while, a private plane flew into it in fog and the plane and pilot’s body were stuck there. They finally demolished the tower (it was abandoned) because they weren’t sure it was safe to climb to retrieve the body. They blew up the base and I think one of the support wires on live TV and it refused to fall. I never did get to see it come down.

This mast is NOT the tallest abandonded structure in the world. The tallest abandonded structure in the world is the former OMEGA Tower at Paynesville, Liberia. It is 417 metres tall!

Srinham, according to the article you linked The tower in Libera was destroyed on May 10. One DAY before you posted.
“Access to the tower was unrestricted and it was possible to climb the abandoned mast until it was demolished years later on May 10, 2011″
