Point taken, but there is a lot more to diversity than skin color – what I meant is that they’re not wearing the same cookie-cutter gowns that the American women wear.
Then it might be more clear to say the “gowns” are more diverse, instead of the “women.”
And–thank you so much for explaining what “diversity” includes. After working on four continents with a score of nationalities of people who spoke as many languages and dialects, and practiced half a dozen religions, I’m still not surprised to run across a western female (which I’ll bet you are) who assumes the world needs you to enlighten us.

Believe me, there are lots of unattractive Russian girls. Need proof? Just look at the other pictures of women on this site and the girls that come here to study. Of the foreign girls that come the the US to study in our Universities, the Russian girls are probably the least attractive.

My hat is off to all the Russian girls in their beauty contest. There is no doubt that all the Russian parents of all the girls are very proud. It looked to be a fair competition and I believe the best of the best was selected.
