    Wooden Yard in Moscow

Posted on September 19, 2007 by russia

Wooden Yard in Moscow city, Russia 1

Yesterday we had a public yard from St. Petersburg which was all from mosaics. This one stands in the middle of Moscow city downtown – just imagine between hundreds of multi-stored concrete or brick buildings there is a wooden oasis in traditional Russian style. There is even a wooden sculpture of a bear.

What is this place? The sign in photos 4&5 indicates this may be a resturant.

No, it is something I picked up here. Anytime someone sees a bear they write this. I just thought that I would be first.

No lessons required. Must have steady hand. Be dedicated.

I miss my father very much. He was a brilliant woodworker, and would have admired this house.
