heavy fire took place in Vladivostok 1

This incident took place in Vladivostok at 21st of July. The most interesting in this story is that the covering of this building, called Atlantis, was made from the usual foam plastic. Fortunately, the building has not been inhabited yet so there are no victims.

At first sight I expected that they would simply let it burn down and clean up the ashes after a week :)

Too bad, it looks like a nicely designed building. I wonder if they can just repair the damage or they have to destroy it?

      Hey Richard S

Of course the builders don’t have insurance. Russia is building itself on the principle of screwing the little folk.
So the building burns: the guys who put up their hard-earned money to buy into this condiminium get burned.
Meanwhile, the builders go on to start work on another death-trap.
And don’t even think about suing: the court decision goes to the guys who can pay most to the judge. And who might that be? The building company or the guy who’s just lost his investment?
