the movie was actually really decent, as opposed to Sin City, a cheap remake of Pulp Fiction; and off the topic: did you know that Russia had never signed peace treaty with Japan after WW2 and is still officially at war with it? i didn’t, just read it somewhere and now wondering if its true?

Germany also had never signed peace treaty with the USSR after WW2, so USSR in 1955 had to unilaterally officially declare that the war was over and released German POWs.

Except that Russia had never declared war on Japan, that was the USSR, which doesn’t exist any more.
