Probably all know famous “The Beatles” song “Let It Be”. But less know that there was a Soviet-Russian version of this song. Here it is.

    Actually that’s a fragment of some soviet show with capitalistic songs translated in Russian.

        although credited to “Lennon/Mcartney” it was mainly written by McCartney, and Lennon thought it was a somewhat corny song, as evidenced by his silly comment on the LP immediately before the song starts (buy the LP and listen).

    Man, this is some of the finest Soviet Television i’ve ever seen! Good times!
    The guy with bad teeth is hilareous! The weird “kiss hand” scene with Mimino and some old lady is a bit eerie though.
