This is a compilation of photos from different sources about a life on a music event which takes place in Crimea, Ukraine. Thousands of young people from Russia visit this place. It’s situated on the shore of the Black sea, the most southern part of the former USSR.
And of course the place is severely protected. On this picture you can see the guards, the Ukrainian special police squad “Tigers” (this is what written on their backs with white letters). Probably it’s written there just for a bigger effect, to gain more respect for police. But who knows.
It has been said that in 2006 many of Russian visitors were unmercifully beaten, trying to earn money from them. That’s not a rare thing when policemen try to earn using their power. Both in Moscow and in other parts of Russia, you can see the related posts section down this page if have not seen before.
Most of the visitors are usualy alternatively oriented.
That’s a russian car VAZ 2110 covered with some blissful paintings.
People dance all the night, then the daytime is used for getting some sleep. It’s normal.
Most of the visitors are young people, the signature on the lady’s swimsuit is an official moto of the event, it is a modified word “Happiness”.
People live everywhere across the beach and in local villages.
This is also some sort of a house with a sign “CONDOM HOUSE” on its roof. Probably it is some bar.
Different body-art contests were being held.
Many russian girls are sunbathing and just wander around. I decided not to cut off those images just because it’s a natural part of the event, not connected with some sort of expressing sexuality etc.
I hate when the colour of teeth alters.
The music is being played non-stop, during daytime and at night. The graffiti on the wall is of the sad anti-semitic content, meaning “Jews go away from the Internet”, I hope they erased it pretty soon after it was made. It’s sad people don’t understand that all the people are of one origin.

This guy’s pose probably expresses something, as I told the photos are from different private sources so only the witnesses could explain us what he wanted to say.
People sleep right on the beach.
All the interesting things happen at night. A lot of dance grounds, different styles of electronic music, audio and visual effects.

It’s no secret that a lot of young people visiting such events are using some drugs. It’s not of course allowed by the authorities but the curiosity always wins, though you know that curiosity killed a cat.
Also it’s clearly seen here that American dollars are used all over the Russia.

People are living in local villages, the sign on the door is “Free rooms available”.

In Russia weed is usualy being smoked with the help of filterless cigarettes “Belomorkanal”, which can be easily emptied from the tobacco and some grass is being put inside them afterwards. That’s what are they doing on the photo.
The guy is showing a paper with a stamped image “Afterparty is persmissed”.

Again that “Condom house” it is definitely some kind of a bar.
The sign is given a direction to a “Sex’o'drome”, what’s that?
“Ibiza sucks, Kazantip rules” something like that.
Such events like these is a pretty young thing for Russia. For 70 years rock, alternative and electronic music was banned by the goverment. People could not meet and play or listen the music they like. After so many years of being deprived people try to catch up and copy the events from the famous parties of USA or Europe.
For information.. Kazantip is not in Russia.

Kazantip – Ukraine event. US-Eroupe events not so clear-in-mind like Kazantip. It’s better/cheaper/longer/musical/etc.
I am ukrainian and I know that place. Really only a few ukrainian and russian people likes such places. Because they are full of drugs, crime, prostitution and other ugly things. I can say even more the people who like to be there are usually not a good people, they are usually a people who lived without much money all their life…

yeah man, KaZantip event located in Ukraine and it’s really so cool as you’ve wrote
but nowadays it’s more commercial and each year amount of freaks and people who visited this part of Earth to listen good electronic music is lower and lower. Now it’s more “public and fashionable” place than place for music and liberty-love people. You even can’t have a sex right on a beach this year 
but last year I do have right there

anyway – we will go to Sheolkino next year – the place where KaZantip event started 15-20 years ago!

Ok, the girls in Russia are gorgeous, that’s for sure. They remind me of American girls but a higher % of pretty ones. Russia is definitely a strange place. I’d love to visit there some day, as I am an aspiring photographer.

Hey, I’m replying regarding the photos which were posted from the party on the beach in the Crimea. There are photo’s of some people covered in paint and the caption reads… ‘Many russian girls are sunbathing and just wander around. I decided not to cut off those images just because it’s a natural part of the event, not connected with some sort of expressing sexuality etc.’ Through out the entire set of photographs there are images of women with their naked breasts and arse’s hanging out which does naturally express sexuality. So why is it that you admit that you would edit out images of male sexuality as if that was somehow not natural? This is englishrussia no? Homosexuality is legal and most certainly not a problem in the West. It is legal in Russia too so why explicitly show heterosexual images and cut homosexual images out. It happens and its not going to go away just because you hide it. Its a shame to see that Russia is so backward with regards to HUMAN sexuality.
Well, I’m looking forward to join ya all at kazantip. I will be playing there.

I’m an English VJ and have just returned from playing there. It is an eye opener. Yes everyone is friendly, very friendly and you will have problems turning down their offer of vodka and what else. Compared to British festivals there is much less trouble, less litter, better sound systems and of course better weather and prettier girls!
