Stolen wheels

Posted on August 22, 2006 by team

You probably remember this article, there was a large gallery (more than 40 photos) of top cars (mostly worth over $150,000 each) captured on the streets of Moscow, sometimes covered with snow. Here is another one. The guy probably left his Mercedes SL 600 AMG unattended and less fortunate citizens borrowed his AMG top class wheels (probably worth $2000 each).

it’s not an AMG, it’s a SL600 , the owner put the AMG badge on afterwards

That really happened in Estonia couple of years ago, more precisely in Tallinn, Pirita area. I drove by with my bike, this was a new residential area under construction so at night it was dark and nobody lived there. In summer of 2004 the thieves stole a lot of wheels in Tallinn but police got it under control.
